Privacy

The current BlackGold Beauty Finds build does not require account creation. Saved products, comparisons, decisions and quality-assurance events are stored locally on the visitor's device or browser. The current build does not include advertising SDKs or central analytics.

Barcode scanning

On Android, barcode scanning may request camera permission while the scanner is in use. In the current build, barcode recognition is processed on-device through Google ML Kit. BlackGold does not upload camera images or scanned barcodes to a central BlackGold server.

Campaign parameters

The site can preserve UTM campaign parameters during a browsing session so we can test whether links are being labeled correctly. Quality-assurance events are stored locally in the visitor's own browser and are not centrally collected in the current build.

Future analytics

Before central analytics are activated, this notice will be updated to identify the service, purpose, retention and available privacy controls.
